Horizontal flags are the traditional shape of flags.

Finishing
The flags are finished with a strong headband on the left side, with 2 or 3 hooks or D-rings.
Finished with eyelets in the 4 corners, we call it a banner.

Doubles seems, all around, reinforement in the corners, strond band at the left side, with hooks.
